What I liked most about being a part of BYOB:
What I loved most about BYOB was how real and practical it was. It wasn’t just about starting a business — it was more about reclaiming ownership of your mind, your energy, and setting the right foot in being yourself and finding the right balance and path. The magical thing that in my soul pushed me to stop waiting for permission and allow myself to start moving, even when I didn’t feel “I’m a boss yet.” I felt seen as both as woman and as an experimenter /creator — not just an attendee in another cohort or a class.
Changes or discoveries I’ve experienced as a result of BYOB:
BYOB stripped away a lot of my old beliefs about success. I realized how much of my fear came from people-pleasing, over-preparing, and trying to be “perfect” before showing up.
Through this program, I learned how to act from clarity instead of chaos, and that being my own boss starts from within — how I think, how I manage my time, how I set boundaries.
I stopped asking “Who am I to do this?” and started asking, “Who am I not to?”
That mental shift changed everything. It helped me find my voice, package my ideas, and finally ship instead of endlessly planning.
Would I recommend BYOB to someone else?
Absolutely — but only if you’re ready to face your own trauma, fears and shadow side patterns.
BYOB isn’t for those who just want motivational quotes & speeches. It’s for those who are willing to see where they’ve been hiding, procrastinating, or downplaying their own potential. If you’re ready to stop waiting for life to “stabilise” before you begin — this is the container which you place yourself in which gives a an eye-opening experience & effect and let yourself surround with people who will connect & teach you things in every aspects which is possible if you set your mind to for the passion or goals that you want to achieve.
For anyone wondering if they’re cut out for this:
If you’ve ever felt like you’re too behind, too busy, or too unsure, you’re exactly the kind of person who needs BYOB.
It’s not about becoming fearless; it’s about becoming self-led.
You don’t need a business plan — you need a good backbone, setting the right systems in place that won’t give you burnout over time , philosophy & mindset and a community with a common goal that won’t let you forget who you are.
BYOB gave me all fours.
And because of that, I’ll never look at “being my own boss” the same way again.
